Hi Beverly, I suspect the odor may bake off after a few uses. Next time you season your baker you might want to choose an oil with a more neutral aroma like Crisco or canola oil. If you're worried about the odor transferring to your bread, you could consider using lightly sprayed parchment paper to line the baker for the first few bakes. I often use parchment paper this way because it ensures an easy release.
