Hi Annette, with cream pies the key is to be sure that the filling sets properly (fully cooked, with the correct amount of thickener) and then allow the pie to chill thoroughly before slicing into it. Overmixing a custard filling can also sometimes contribute to a runny pie. We have lots of great cream pie recipes as well as key lime pie recipes, so perhaps all you need to do is follow a good recipe!
