I don’t get how that is a better way of doing things. Most of my ingredients weigh too much and is too big to do that. Scales can take only so much weight. It would be a mess if 20 pounds of flour fell while trying to hold it on the scale and scooping some out at the same time. I will stick to using the tare button after each ingredient, which is firmly placed upon my kitchen counter.
