I use the toaster oven. Set it on a high-temp bake & let it preheat completely. Then put in 2-3 slices - with the crust right inside the door. That's the coolest part of the oven and not usually under the burner, so the crust doesn't burn. Then bake for a minute or two until it's at your desired doneness.
