While the steam emitted from the loaf is generally enough for most breads to crisp up. putting the ice cubes underneath the parchment will work nicely for some extra crispyness. They will melt rather quickly before the bread is completely risen so any negative space on the floor area of the Dutch oven is fair game. Happy baking!
