While adding whole-grain goodness with this delicious flour is one way to go, another is to lighten a recipe that uses traditional whole wheat. In a quick bread recipe that calls for 4 cups of whole wheat flour as the only grain, I substitute one cup of Golden Whole Wheat (what a pretty name! nice switch-up) to mellow out the flavor a tad. I think it also helps with the texture. Next time I may bump that up to 2 cups.
