Hi David, this isn't an ingredient we normally add to our cinnamon roll fillings, but we do have a few recipes you could use by way of example. For a basic filling, one tablespoon of Instant ClearJel should be fine, as shown in this recipe. For fillings that have lots of butter, sugar, or added fruit you could go as high as 2-3 tablespoons, as shown in our Cinnamon-Walnut Filled Tea Ring recipe, or this Caramel-Apple Cinnamon Buns recipe. I would not recommend adding water to the filling, as this will make it more likely to run out.
