Thanks for offering this advice, Karen! You are so right! It can often take 10 days to 2 weeks to develop a fully mature sourdough starter that is rising consistently, and patience almost always wins out when it comes to sourdough starters. For those who struggle to get their starter rising, please don't hesitate to contact our Baker's Hotline.
