Hi Belinda, we don't recommend freezing your starter, but you could consider drying a portion of your starter. I also recommend storing some starter at the back of your fridge, since a normally well-maintained starter can last for several months in the refrigerator without being fed. It will just take a few days of twice daily feedings at room temperature to bring it back to its normal rising behavior after an extended stay in the fridge.
