If you are able, another great change is replacing a gas oven with electric. Of course a lot of people don’t have the free cash to make that switch (although there are rebates available!), and lots of people rent and it’s not their choice — but if you can do it, it’s a big improvement from an environmental standpoint. And if you can’t replace it, having your gas stove serviced regularly will help it operate as efficiently as possible so that you’re not using any unnecessary fuel - better for the climate and your gas bill!
