When I come to the end of a loaf, I take the stubs and cut them into cubes. They all go into a plastic bag in the freezer. When making a frittata, dressing,or bread pudding, I use them instead of “staling” a loaf. A fun bonus: cubes come in all flavors — white, wheat, raisin, rye — o make food even more tasty!
