Hi Floyce, making a sourdough starter from scratch can be an unpredictable process, and I don't know a guaranteed quick-to-make recipe. However, we do offer this recipe, and we also sell a fully mature starter that only needs a few feedings to revive it from its travels before its ready to use in your bread baking. Once you have an active starter, there are a variety of sourdough bread recipes you can choose from, but this Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread might fit your needs. It has a little yeast in it, which helps ensure a good rise.
