I have tried both of these... with the same results & I flour the cloth (the one that came with the banneton or the tea towel) liberally (I used just shy of a 1/4cup) ... and flour the outside of the loaf first ... and it sticks terribly every time and then after soaking, scrubbing, washing machine, stain remover - there are tons of little black dots on the cloth.

So, how do you do this successfully? I now just always use parchment paper in the banneton.
