I can't say that a cookie recipe has ever been on my mind at 4 AM, wondering what went wrong. I've probably made hundreds of batches of chocolate chip cookies successfully. However, as others have stated, these were cakey and tasteless. I double checked my measuring and am sure I had it correct and followed the procedure exactly. For all of the time involved, I think I'll just go back to my regular recipe. (And of course, last year's amazing coffee cakes!) Sorry this one isn't for me.
