I often make a huge loaf of bread. After a couple of days, I slice it up and put it in a ziplock bag. To keep them from sticking to each other, I turn the slices so that they’re facing away from the surface they were cut from. This works surprisingly well, and works with bagels, too. I don’t bother with thawing, I just put them in the toaster as is.
