The crust is the best part of a pizza (OK, that of course requires that it’s good crust to start with, and I assume Martin knows his way around baked goods ;) ). At our house we call them pizza bones. The way I eat a Neapolitan style pizza (that’s what comes out of my Ooni) is to cut around the outer perimeter of the pizza guts and eat them first. That leaves a perfect circle of pizza bones. Then I pour some really good olive oil into the center of my plate, add some balsamic vinegar and a little salt and tear pieces of the crust ring and let them soak up the oil/balsamic mix. Again, that is the best part of pizza.
