I have made ginerbread houses for years and royal frosting is wonderful for the construction. My grandkids then decorate their houses with all types of candy. I was just told that the candy is very hard to remove from the royal frosting, which it is! So I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for using a stiff enough frosting to apply alot of candy to the house, but one that doesn't get as hard as royal frosting?
