Hi Lora. We haven't tried this method with that recipe, but don't see why it would not work! Just keep a touch of extra milk or cream handy...if the scone batter looks a bit too dry during mixing, you can add a Tablespoon or two of that liquid in to help hydrate. Happy Baking!
