I use Kerry Gold Irish butter. Cut it into tablespoon chunks and put it in a bowl on the countertop. It is just right after 5 minutes. Kerry Gold melts at a much lower temperature because it is pure butter with higher fat content. The flavor is amazing and no other butter compares. It doesn’t have water added like American butters or cheeses. Your pie crusts will be amazing. Do a comparison taste between Kerry Gold and any other butter. Huge difference how it melts in your mouth.
