I took a class and the instructor offered advice that a baking stone would help with uneven heat in my oven. I understood her to say just simply having the stone in the oven and using pans, etc would do the trick. Now I think I misunderstood. She meant bake directly on the stone, didnt she? I am trying to imagine baking cookies, cakes, etc which I struggle with due to uneven heat.
