Sorry to hear this happened, Donna! Is it possible that you used salted butter in this recipe? We find 3/4 tsp of salt to be just the right amount, but you must use unsalted butter in any recipe that does not specify for salted. You are always welcome to reduce the amount of salt if that is your flavor preference!
