For those who are looking to purchase fresh yeast, go to your nearest bakery and ask if they will allow you to purchase fresh yeast. I once lived very close to a bakery and they would sell me fresh yeast. It never hurts to ask. I moved away from that area long ago and got used to using dry yeast.
