Can't answer that, but I just finished reading the article and WOW! Every word you wrote and, even more, every picture was MY bread. I've been baking bread for well over 20 years using a towel. Never would have guessed the one thing keeping it from being perfect was the towel, especially with artisan bread! Can say this regarding Saran wrap: I got the same results as the towel covered pictures. Good thing I have to bake bread tomorrow. Can't wait to try a different cover. THANKS!!!
