Not only that—-but the bread my grandmother made was better than any online. She had no recipe. But I remember her using water from boiling potatoes. Always a towel, too. I have never been able to duplicate the taste of her bread. But I have switched over to plastic wrap as a cover as I think there is something to a tight cover. Happy baking!
