thank you for the really fun alternative and for the introduction to alana! we had a blast making these cookies and they were all so pretty. don't forget to make the chocolate base as well. even our camouflage leftovers had a lot of visual interest. definitely doing this again (and again).
had to make this non-dairy so i tried a few of the plant-based cream cheeses and found oatley to be a very good substitute.
