Thanks for the article. I found it very interesting. Last year I performed my own test with peanut butter cookies as most peanut butter recipes called for shortening and I prefer the taste of butter in my cookies. I even tried a butter flavor shortening but still preferred real butter. The only downfall is that they spread more than cookies made with shortening.
