We often have camp fires. I save my used fry oil, pour some over some corrugated cardboard or paper towels, stack my wood around it, and light the paper towels on fire. Works great. Same thing if you use a charcoal chimney for charcoal grills….use some oil in the paper towels under the chimney to get the fire started.
