Hi Paki, our only concern with using the proof setting on your home oven is that sometimes these are set for a much higher temperature than is ideal (some are set as high as 100°F). We always encourage folks to check their oven manual to be sure the setting is no higher than 85°F. If you don't have the manual, try sticking an instant read thermometer in there to check the proofing temperature after it's had a chance to heat up.
