Does sugar ever have an expiration date? I do have a jar of "regular" sugar and culinary lavender that I haven't used in more than 5 years. I don't know if the lavender is now stale tasting and would impact the flavor of any use of it...I should probably just taste it....but would still like to know about expiration dates if kept airtight...or close.
