I was a bit confused with the terms you used. I am of Mexican descent. I learned how to make tortillas at a young age. We said tortillas de maíz for corn tortillas and tortillas de harina for tortillas made from white flour. Masa is the generic term for the dough for either of them. I was intrigued with the colors, though.
