I usually use a plastic gallon bag( twist tie not zipped). I place the dough inside and after refrigeration, can usually roll the dough into a perfectly rounded log, then cut with unwaxed, non-flavored, dental floss… it’s easy to make a loop around the log and pull tight. The results can vary but I’m usually making wedding cookies, aka. Vanilla Bites, my son’s favorite!
