I had a completely different result with a silicone mat. Cookies did not retain their shape at all. They spread wildly, we’re more like lace cookies, and practically inedible. It took me several ruined batches of cookies to figure out why all of my cookie recipes had stopped working. I would never bake on a silicone mat again.
