I made this ( doubled recipe) using the microwave in a 4 cup glass measure. That way I could see how much it had reduced. It turned out very well. Next time I make it I may quadruple it. It does make a small amt as written for the galette. I gifted it in 4 oz glass jars with some fresh apple muffins.
