I made this dough for the Thanksgiving apple pie. It was delicious. However, quite a bit of butter melted of the pie pan out during the baking. Fortunately, I had the pie on a flat pan lined with foil. The butter was collected on the foil (and bottom of the pie pan. How can I prevent the butter from melting out in the future? I did have everything cold before putting it in the oven. Thank you.
