I was pleasantly surprised to see a Table Talk pie plate pictured with your article. I grew up near the bakery. There was a deposit on the pie plates but my mother, like many others, liked baking pies in them so well that she didn't return them for the 5c deposit. Fast forward to today, I have a nice set of vented metal pie plates.
