But why don't they frost cupcakes out to the edges anymore? So often it looks like the frosting is just sort of perched on there. And I'd be concerned about the cake drying out quicker. I get it that you don't want the frosting slopping over the paper, but I don't see why the wide margin is necessary or attractive.
