I just recieved the Baking School book for my birthday! I have been cooking and baking for years but I have never been able to make a good pie crust. In fact, I'd have to say that every single pie crust I've made in the past has stunk! Tears have been shed while trying to roll, ugly language used and a great amount of stress and frustration has always been involved. After each failed attempt I would announce that I would never make my own crust again! Until today. I read the pies and tarts section of the book and had such an awesome experience! I now see all of my past mistakes, from the rolling errors to the addition of water errors and the cutting in of the butter. I can't believe how easy it actually was after following the rule, tips and guidelines in this book. Thank you King Arthur Baking School. Now, lets see if I can do it again tomorrow :-)
