What attachment do you recommend for making cookie dough? I use the double wire attachment, but when I make chocolate chip cookies and add in the nuts, chips and dried cranberries, it gets really stiff and the beaters grind and it sounds like it's stripping the gear, so I immediately shut it off. I'd really prefer to use paddles. The wires don't reach the very bottom of the bowl, so I have to put the dough in another bowl to do a final mix. Using the round bread paddle doesn't mix my ingredients eggs into sugar very well. Any suggestions?
