Laura, I enjoyed your article immensely. I, too, received my “Anka” as a gift. I laughed when I saw you named yours “Andy”. My Anka has her own cabinet with her own counter/electricity.
I have been a baker for a very long time but I definitely will agree with you 100%...this wonderful machine takes your baking to a whole different level. I agree you do have to learn how to operate Anka as it is different than the other “famous” standby. (Which by the way I will never completely give up...too sentimental). However......I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY ANKA!! I don’t think I could ever live without her now. I love her so much, I actually bought one for my son who couldn’t agree with me more.
