If a standard muffin tin holds a whole egg, I’m sure that standard size silicone muffin cups would be great for freezing eggs as well and the frozen “cubes” (cylinders) would be easier to release. I haven’t tried it myself, although I used to freeze chicken broth in silicone muffin cups before I learned how to pressure can.
