I found a dessert cookbook that has recipes for two people. I actually asked for 6-inch cake & pie pans for Christmas because the cake & pie recipes call for this size. Then I won't have extra batter to deal with. She even has a page for those leftover ingredients... like an egg yolk or white or sweetened condensed milk. Dessert for Two by Christina Lane. I haven't made anything yet, but I'm planning on the Black-Bottom Peanut Butter Pie for New Year's Eve & have my eye on Pumpkin Cupcakes with Bourbon Buttercream & Chocolate Chip Cookies very soon.
