Hi there, we haven't tried this with our buttermilk powder, but it sounds like an interesting application. My only concern is that our buttermilk powder might clump up when added to the frosting, since we generally don't recommend mixing it directly with liquid because it does not reconstitute well. I would recommend mixing it with the confectioners' sugar first if you want to experiment when using our buttermilk powder in your cream cheese frosting.
