Hi Stefanie, most brioche recipes have only a small amount of added liquid because much of the liquid comes from the eggs (74% water, by weight) and the butter (16% water, by weight). If your particular recipe has no added liquid, it probably just has more eggs and butter and will make for a richer dough.
