I whole heartedly agree with Stacey! I recently was served Gluten free pasta made from gluten free 00 flour and am now very sick as a celiac! The label is very misleading and dangerous for those with celiac.
I have bought King Arthur for YEARS, now I cannot trust your GF label!!!! I shouldn’t have to see “gluten free” and then search to see if the source was wheat that is cleansed.
Please please please keep your gluten free labeled products those that are 100% GF by nature!!! And please keep it on separate factory/production lines!! Please relabel your gluten free 00 flour to be “gluten-removed” and “ contains wheat”!! Many with low gluten intolerance will still buy it but those of us with severe celiac need to be able to trust you and your labeling.
You have created a very misleading label, “gluten free” should be something that came from completely gluten free natural products.NOT gluten “removed” we all know traces exist.
Please reconsider how you are hurting those of us with celiac and think of the ethics of misleading customers with a “gluten free” label when in fact it is not truly.
I don’t know if I can buy any of your beloved products anymore. Now I have to turn the product over and scrutinize the ingredients for gluten sources. How can I trust your lines aren’t being shared with the 00 glutened removed flour as well?
I have loved your products, especially your cakes. But now I don’t know if I can continue to buy King Arthur because I cannot trust your label.
Please consider my request that anything that comes from a gluten source and is altered to remove gluten be labeled “gluten removed” not the trusted gluten free!!! Thank you!
