I use a two-piece parchment approach. A round or square bottom cover plus a one-piece parameter strip that overlaps slightly at the end and extends above the wall of the pan by roughly 1/4 inch. A small amount of shortening on the wall to ensure the banding does not droop into the body of the pan makes filling very easy.
