Hi Joe, we're sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with your yeast! We find the SAF Red Instant Yeast to be very reliable. I wonder if you are possibly using too warm of a liquid when you mix your bread dough? Yeast will die at 140°F, so you really don't want to use water that is close to that in temperature, and in summertime, when your home may be warmer than usual, you can often just use room temperature water.
