I have a really basic question about my unopened 1-lb package of SAF instant yeast. How do you open it so the flaps will close and keep the yeast in the package? It looks like you have to cut through the flaps. Do you have to transfer the yeast to a container or freezer bag when it's been opened, or is there a way to keep it in its original package?
