Spot on! I already had a set of metal measuring spoons but got the spice measuring spoons from KA to have an extra set of good spoons on hand (and meet the minimum order amount for free shipping!). Good investment. Now, I have to worry less about the order in which I measure ingredients. The pointer also is on target about not wasting money on cheap measuring spoons. I learned that the hard way. I have a set of plastic spoons where the volumes were painted on, and guess what? Once the paint wore off, it became a guessing game except for the smallest and biggest measures. Is this 1 tsp or 1/2 tbsp? Never again! I suppose I can now use my good set of spoons to measure amounts into the plastic spoons (which I obviously haven't thrown out) and use a Sharpie to write the amounts on the spoons. I wouldn't even want to give these away in a yard sale or let them take up space in a landfill. Lesson learned.
