Hi, I've made these twice now and both batches were great. However, I wanted to make the chocolate ice cream the second time, so as directed in the recipe, I melted the 1/3 cup of dark chocolate morsels and whisked it into the cream as I was whipping it. The melted chocolate reformed into tiny bits of chocolate making vanilla ice cream with chocolate bits instead of chocolate ice cream. It was delicious, but I'd still like to try chocolate ice cream.
