this article appeared with probably the most wonderful timing, I struggled reading it only because I'm going through a time of brain fog right now. It's so hard to stay focused on anything, let alone cooking or baking in the kitchen, and so easy to get frustrated or make mistakes. Like another comment said, I personally find that putting all of the ingredients piled up on one side, then moving them to another spot after I've used them, to be extremely helpful (also i just don't have a lot of counter space so putting things away as i go is necessary if i want counterspace lol).

timers! and labels! absolute lifesavers. I cant remember things for the life of me sometimes and with severe hearing loss, if im not right next to the oven, theres no way im going to hear it beep. /: keeping timers on my phone as well just so i can know from another room are so wonderful.

at the end of the day i have to read a recipe card over and over again before my eyes will focus, or i'll find myself walking in circles in the kitchen before remembering what i was doing. I didn't realize this was a thing other younger people experienced! Especially professional bakers. This was very inspiring. I'm definitely going to keep this on hand for when i need that little bit of extra help!
